The secretary has received word of the death of Mrs. Otis E. Hovey, but no details are at hand. She died in June last and presumably at her home in Albany, New York, where she has lived for several years. She was a constant attendant with her husband at our reunions, and, with her granddaughter, was present at the class dinner at Hanover in June 1945.
Mrs. Marion Bay ley Buchanan, who is always deeply appreciative of any news of her father's classmates, spent the summer at the Bayley home in Beverly, Mass. She was fortunate in having all of her family with her part of the time.
Mrs. Charles Chase writes from New Britain, Conn, that she is very comfortably situated near the home of her daughter Margaret and her husband, Bill Judd '34, and four grandchildren. Her son, Eugene Chase, 'l6, is back again at Lafayette University after serving with the State Department. His three daughters have evidently inherited the family scholastic ability; the two eldest are graduates of Swarthmore and the youngest is a junior at Radcliffe.
When this is in print the secretary and Mrs. Austin expect to be in their winter home at St. Petersburg, Florida. This will be their 26th season in the Sunshine City.
Secretary and Treasurer, 433-4 th St., N., St. Petersburg 4, Fla.
