Memorial Fund Chairman, FRED C. SHANEMAN Box 1297, Tacoma, Wash. Guest Editor, PARKER L. JACKSON

These interesting notes were received last spring from Parker just too late to be used in the June issue and so had to be held over until the fall. We are sorry they are late and thanks for a swell job. Parker has been a municipal bond authority since he started working for the Babson organization in Wellesley Hills in 1927. Some time was spent in New York City, but in 1946 he returned to Boston and is now with Lyons & Shafts. He and his wife live in Newton.

Greenough Abbe claims to have had no exciting experience in recent years, or not enough so, to mention in these columns. He is identified with the Filing Equipment Bureau; has a boy n and a girl Jeff Adams seems to have few troubles in this world full of them; he is a Commodore in the Coast Guard Auxiliary which, along with his own personal boating, keeps him busy. Jeff has a girl 22 graduating from Goucher College this June, a boy 12 and a girl 10 Ed Bailey still draws his pay from the Federal Government as he has done for many years. His particular field is the Fish and Wildlife Service, but he hasn't any time for the latter as he is restoring the "old look" to his colonial house in Natick. His boy Tommy is 10 Ev Baker is getting around quite a bit despite his duties at M.I.T. He had a letter from Hal Cowley whom he expected to see at the National Association of Deans' Meeting at Dallas, Texas. Ev was also present at the Annual Boy Scout Dinner in Cleveland and the 100th Anniversary of D.K.E. in New York. Ev has a boy 15 at Exeter and a girl 11 in public school at Wellesley Walt Bernard is so busy with insurance that he has little news; he saw DonDay who is connected with the Spray Engineering Company (spraying equipment)

Wes Blake evidently is having more fun than a great many of us with his varied activities and traveling in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. Naturally, he gets to Hanover "on business" as representative of Boonton Table Ware, a plastic which looks like china. Wes has seen Dr. Ralph Miller in Hanover, who is also a N. H. State Pathologist. According to Wes, Puddy Blodgett is doing nicely on his farm in Vermont even though there has been a dry spell in that area which required carrying water. (Summary of Wes by his wife—"he likes to struggle".) Pinky Booth is keeping busy running the Worcester Telegram with his father Fred Briscoe has his own company which handles hospital specialties. His boy is at Dartmouth after serving in the Army and his girl, 17, is attending Walnut Hill. Doc Christophe is connected with the Mass. Memorial Hospital as a bone and joint specialist; he is Director of Student Health at B. U., in charge of B. U. athletic teams and teaches at the Medical School. Of course, these duties require that he travel to Hanover rather frequently. Doc has a boy 9 Don Crawford has been connected with the management aspect of the Mass. General Hospital for about 4 years; he was in Pittsburgh for a year previously and in Texas for several years. Don's girl is 11 Pat Donnelly has a son Tom who trained at Dartmouth during the war, is now a junior at B. U. and is trying to re-enter Dartmouth for his degree. Son Jack, 17, is also aspiring to Hanover. For hobbies, he goes in for hunting and shooting (pistol practice). His son is a senior at Dartmouth

Sorry, no new cars for any of you fellows as Warren says that the closer you are to an automobile company the longer you'll have to keep your present jalopy. He has a boy 22 Henry Hudson has organized the Stavert Company, manufacturers of housewares with headquarters in Salem, Mass. He has a summer place at Fitzwilliam, N. He has been with the Converse Rubber Company in Maiden ever since graduating and is advertising manager. Wally has a daughter (11) and a son (6). No mention was made of the saxophone—better put in a little practicing for next year! Tillie Lourie has had a bit more permanent wedding to one job than even Wally Lord, Tillie having worked for the Vulcan Construction Company (road building) in the summer and then ever since 1924. He is Vice President and Assistant Treasurer. Tillie boasts that he hasn't missed many reunions, so we can look for him to be on hand next year. However, he claims that several others in the Class should receive a decoration or suitable recognition in the Order of Regularity and Loyalty. Stan Lyon spent a few weeks in the hospital over turn of this year undergoing some general repairs. He now looks fit as a pitcher excepting for a little bulge in the middle. With a bit of warming up, betcha could throw some hot ones down the middle for the Big Green, Stan. Charlie McGahan has been building up the youngsters in South_ Junior High in Waltham where he has been in charge of Physical Education and sorts for the past 20 years.
