By the time you read this the Rhode Island Association will have resumed the popular speaker luncheons of the past two years, the first to be held October 14, 1948 at the University Club in Providence. These luncheons will be held at 12:15 sharp on the second Thursday of each succeeding month with the exception of November, when, due to the holiday, the date will fall on November 18, 1948.

A special effort will be made to end the meetings by 1:20 so that an early return to work will be possible.

A smoker is planned for January with a Hanover speaker and a committee, headed by W. Sterling Atwater '37, is at work planning a barbecue or outdoor picnic for later in the year when the wives will be invited.

The annual meeting will follow in the late spring.

If you haven't been able to attend any of our gatherings we hope to see you this year. We are especially interested in meeting the latest members of the Dartmouth alumni family, the class of 1948.
