The Aspens have turned and there's snow in the back range. Our picnics are over but the gluewine is cooking. (If the Association doesn't relax we'll have to ask for more space to report its activities.)

Undergraduate Luncheon Sept. 15 hit a new high: NINETY-NINE present including alumni, students, and fathers of same. Prexy Bill Grant '31 sparked the gathering to new heights of humor and downright enjoyment. You all must have been there so I won't bore you with details. Dartmouth alumnus in Chicago had word of our gathering and wrote Norrie Williamson '26 "That 99 attendance at your luncheon was wonderful! We didn't have that many at last week's send-off lunch for the undergrads from this district."

That "DEAR" PICNIC on Genessee? Ask Everett Parker '16, the gay blade of the campfire, and ask Alice Toothaker, our Hostess, and her Eleazar's daughters-in-law: Lou Allen, Mary Belle Grant, Becky McDonough, Claire Parker, Pat Peters, Hilda Rickenbaugh, Lee Roberts and Dorrie Williamson. The unbent beer can was awarded to John Jacobey '51 for his story, "Wanta go huntin'—well do everything I do"—and we were off—our sides splitting! Note to the D.C.A.C.—our baseball club beat the Fred Manning team which we had immediately challenged to a game when we found them in possesion of a ball diamond.

NEW DARTMOUTHS on the Great Divide: Bob Williamson '34, ace insurance analyst from Chicago, now associated with Norrie '26 at Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance offices in Denver. Arthur Rydstrom '29, vice-president Bankers Trust Cos. in N.Y.C., has moved here to assist in the management of the Boettcher interests. Captain Hugh F. Lena Jr. '43, stationed at Lowry Field. Holden Waterbury '43, % general delivery, Denver; and George E. Rice '45, now at 425 West 15th St., Pueblo.

VISITING FIREMEN (no complaints to date): Bill Brister '32 from Washington, D. C. and Don Graham, Jr. '45 from Seattle. Here's a story which they or somebody repeated recently. On "Break-the-Bank" Sept. 24 the questions revolved around a geographical theme. One was given to a couple from SPOKANE, WASH.: "If a boy was hitch-hiking to Dartmouth College, where would he be going?" Said couple did not know the answer! (Dear brethren in Spokane: for a small fee we'll send you our press agent.)

It's Later Than You Think—if you missed the last luncheon, don't miss the next one November 26 at the Denver Athletic Club. We have ceased using postcards and if you're not on a Bell Ringers' list, you'd better call Eleazar!
