Concerning addresses we are doing even better than reported in the annual holiday letter sent to each of the names on our mailing list. In that letter, it was said that, the mailing list now contains the addresses of 141 living members or of families of members now deceased; this, from the 165 persons who at one time or another belonged to the class. We have now added the name of Beckwith and representatives of the families of Cook, H. W.Richardson and Wood to the list, making our total 145 out of 165. Comparisons with other classes in this respect are welcomed by the secretary.

During 1947 wehave records (probably not complete) of the births of the following grand- children. David Walker Blair, Susan Irene Long, Geraldine Ann Proctor, Douglas B. Dearborn, Francis Randall Cate, Robert Morton Fairfield (H.M.), Donald Drake Tuttle (D.D.), Malcolm Wilmot Clouter (Hadley's daughter, Margaret), Janet Keith Hicks (Tirrell's daughter Jeanne), Thomas Fowler Cardner (A. T. Fowler's daughter's) and another granddaughter to Brooks. To make the list even more impressive and venerable, FredSmith reports a second great-granddaughter, Charlotte Eleanor Kohloss, and Arthur Wallace also a second great-grandchild, Cynthia Louise Byron.

Alvah Fowler has had a tough time recentlyas a result of an operation followed by pneumonia but is now definitely on the mend. NedBrozvn has also required the services of a surgeon and, although in a measure recovered, iscompelled to take it easy for a time.

Arthur Newton has recently been electedpresident of the National Automobile OldTimers.

Paul Alherton's daughter Beulah was married last summer to Mr. Victor T. Backus ofFour Pines Farm, North Marshfield, Mass.
