KINGSBURY S. NICKERSON OF PITTSFIELD was elected president of the Dartmouth Club of Berkshire County at the annual meeting held Dec. 30 in conjunction with a dinner at Howard Johnson's Restaurant. He succeeds Robert S. Newman of Pittsfield.
Professor Carl S. Hoar of Williams College was elected vice president, succeeding Judge F. Anthony Hanlon of Adams. Harry B. Johnson of Lenox was re-elected secretary-treasurer.
The nominating committee consisted of Judge Hanlon, Howard D. Sammis of Cheshire and Dr. Wilfred A. Blais of Pittsfield.
Charles F. Camp, former Dartmouth football star and now assistant to the dean of the college, spoke to the 24 alumni and undergraduates present on the widely discussed
"Great Issues" course inaugurated this year by President Dickey, and on the newly formed undergraduate council. The program ended with movies of the 1947 football season.
