BIGGER AND BETTER is the only way to describe the dinner meeting put on by the New Brunswick division. Headed by that very capable chairman Van Wie Ingham '27, the committee of R. LeRoy Height '23, Edward P. Ajemian '47 and Robert J. Prochaska '47 provided one of the most delightful occasions Dartmouth men in the state have enjoyed in a long time.
The date was April 9; the place was the Robert Smith Hotel at New Brunswick. The committee, through the kindness of Mr. William C. Skelley of the Rutgers University faculty, was able again to secure the spacious and ample quarters of the Union Club.
R. LeRoy Height, who makes an excellent job of being toastmaster, again did a fine job. He was ably assisted by two '23 classmates, Louis V. Wilcox and Sidney J. Flanigan. Mr. Wilcox, president of the Newark Club, gave us an interesting discourse on the Hopkins Center, while Mr. Flanigan of the New York Club won the whole group by his delightfully humorous anecdotes.
In addition to the committee and the speakers, the following men were present: New Brunswick—Robert L. Feller '41, Dr. Henry Haywood '14, Ralph A. Jenkins '14, Charles F. Marden '23, William A. Merchant '23; Trenton—Richard J. S. Barlow '14, Richard M. Beshlin '28, George Barlow '43, George W. Lee '28, William J. McNulty '25, Arthur J. O'Mara '09, Ivan Prowattain '18, Victor E. Sabary '36, Monroe W. Taylor '45, Karl H. Weber '34; Bound Brook—Robert C. Beetham '47, J. Saxton Ziemen '36; Somerville—R. N. Hogsett '14, Herbert Bailey '41; Matawan—R. J. Lawrence '47, James C. Morgan '41; Flemington—Homer Hill '18; Sewaren—Ralph Rankin '47; Perth Amboy-Ira W. Safran '28; Atlantic Highlands—J. Branton Wallace '26. Also, as a guest of the committee, D.
