ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6, the Central New Jersey Club held a joint meeting with the Cornell Club at the Hotel Hildebrecht in Trenton. It was the first occasion since 1939. The prize for attendance, the "Little Brown Jug," went to the Cornell Club this year. Many of the shore boys promised to be present; but the traveling was so bad and the weatherman was predicting such a heavy snow for the night, that they did not make the trip. So like the Brooklyn baseball rooters, our cry is, "Wait 'til next year!" Pictures of the 1947 Cornell-Dartmouth football game were shown and made a hit. Short talks were given by the officers of the two clubs; excellent refreshments were served; and everybody got into the community singing.

Last April, the New Brunswick boys put on a dinner meeting for us. It was a bang-up affair, and we asked for a repeat. So they are doing it again—but bigger and better! Speakers from Hanover and New York. Don't miss it! Put a red circle around Friday, April 9. Complete details later by mail.

Our next meeting will be at the Carteret Club in Trenton on Friday, March 5. George W. Lee '28, our Program Committee chairman, promises an interesting night. Maybe the weather and the roads will be okay by then. How about it New Brunswick? and Asbury?
