THE SPRING DINNER MEETING of the Dartmouth Club of Eastern Oklahoma foregathered in the Ivory Room of the Mayo Hotel in Tulsa, March 16, with Professor Bob Carr '29 as guest of honor and speaker of-the evening. Oklahoma came through with some beautiful spring weather after greeting Bob with a sample Boston blizzard upon his arrival a week earlier.
The message from Hanover was followed with great interest and pleasure by the members and guests, and following Bob's talk numerous questions were asked about various phases of the Dartmouth situation, with which the Tulsa group were not too familiar. Among the guests were the parents of two prospective Dartmouth students, who are hoping to make the grade to Hanover in the next two years. Two members of the clan who were temporarily in Tulsa, Bob Garwick '42 of Harrison, New York, and Chuck Howard '46 of Chicago, were located and brought to the gathering.
All those present agreed that the meeting was a successful get-together of the Dartmouths in these parts. Those present were: President Ray Hall '4l and Mrs. Hall, Eric Stahl '20 and Mrs. Stahl, Cleve Spillers '39, Chet Dudley '13, Bill Grimshaw '40 and Mrs. Grimshaw, Bob Garwick '42, Chuck Howard '46, King Dickason '26, Fred Fellingham '27 and Mrs. Fellingham, Phil Thomas '03 and Mrs. Thomas and Miss Thomas, Jack Bates '10 and Mrs. Bates, Dick Pringle '46, John Ferguson '15 and Mrs. Ferguson, Doctor and Mrs. Russell, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen.
