THE FORTHCOMING VISIT OF 808 CARR '29 was the important topic of conversation at the monthly meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Eastern Oklahoma on January 26, at the Tulsa Club. Professor Carr has been in Tulsa before, and his appearance before this group with all the latest information from Hanover will be looked forward to with a lot of anticipation. These occasional visits from Dartmouth personalities are greatly appreciated by us boys from the outlying precincts, for our contacts with the college are all too rare.

Plans are under way for a joint gathering with the Harvards to see the pictures of that satisfying, though not overwhelming, victory last fall. If it had been any worse, I expect that the joint meeting would be harder to arrange, but as it is, it should be a good party.

Due to snowy weather which happens also in Tulsa, but does not loiter, the attendance at the gathering was smaller than usual. The stalwarts who made it were:

Eric C. Stahl '20, K. O. Herwig '27, William R. Grimshaw Jr. '40, Eugene B. Adkins '41, President Raymond Hall Jr. '41, Edward R. Patterson '41 and the secretary.
