SIXTY MEMBERS of the Dartmouth Club of Springfield heard Dean Lloyd K. "Pudge" Neidlinger speak at their annual meeting held at the Longmeadow Country Club Tuesday, May 4.

Dean Neidlinger talked on "The Financial Problems of the College." He pointed out that while expenses had increased greatly because of inflationary conditions, expansion of income had definite limits. Greater emphasis must be placed on contributions from Alumni and gifts from other people interested in the College, according to the Dean. To justify these gifts, the College must perform an effective public service in preparing men to contribute to our society.

The following officers of the Dartmouth Club of Springfield were elected for the coming year: president, George W. Weston '23; vice-president, Dr. Theodore R. Miner '23; secretary-treasurer, William A. Lieson '32; assistant secretary-treasurer, Frederick C. Witzel '44.
