The keg was tapped at 8 p.m. on May 25 the place: Hotel Alms—the occasion: a dividend party and some incidental business, namely the election of new officers. HassWarrener rapped on the table with an empty stein and the meeting came to some semblance of order. The secretary Stace Hill, safely residing in California, the minutes were dispensed with. Vance Clark made up for this with his treasurer's report.

The main event of the treasury for the year was the Glee Club Concert and Dance held on April a, at the Pavilion Caprice, Hotel Netherland Plaza. To put down a few hard facts, May Fechheimer and Jim Trequair's Concert committee showed a net profit of $631.26, with attendance of 600 and gross receipts of $3197.50. At a meeting of the executive committee on April 3, $5OO of the profit was sent to the College undergraduate loan fund. The remaining $131.26 becomes a local scholarship fund.

May Fechheimer, who sparked the successful concert, modestly received the applause of the gathering. And, incidentally, the record should include some "Da-Da-Dartmouths" for the Glee Club. Under Paul Zeller's direction, the Club has really shown music-loving Cincinnatians what Dartmouth can produce in the way of a well-balanced, versatile and talented Glee Club—those "Dry Bones" are still clacking.

President Hass turned the meeting over to past prexy John Egbert and the following executive committee choice of new officers was presented. After at least two seconds of sharp debate on the floor the nominations were closed and when the foam cleared away the Dartmouth Club of Cincinnati found itself under new management as follows:

Lewis K. Johnstone '4l, president; Howard Fischbach '39, vice-president; Grant Hesser 41, secretary; Robert Keeler '36, treasurer; William Portman '45, executive committee; Jack Herrick '3O, executive committee.

With Lew now wielding the gavel, BillPortman reported progress on his placement service and already some concrete results. More power to you, Bin. Ed Brunhoff started off some lively discussion on football broadcasts and get-togethers which led to other debate or entertainment for the coming year. A picnic is foreseen in September when prospective undergrads can attend; also possible future meetings to be held at private homes for greater congeniality and incidentally no charges paid to the Alms, etc.

Any readers passing through Cincy are cordially invited to contact the secretary or any of the above officers. For further addresses and phone numbers see our local telephone directory.
