The Dayton Dartmouths have had a very active year. Last fall we joined forces with the Cornells in this area to witness a "grid-graph" presentation of the Cornell-Dartmouth clash. There were about 35 in attendance. On December 29, the annual Christmas dinnerdance was held at the Moraine Country Club with 26 Dayton couples present. In March, Professor Herb Hill of the History department spoke at an evening dinner meeting about recent happenings in Hanover to a turnout of about 30, and on April 15 a stag steak dinner was held with 18 present. All of these events were ably handled by the entertainment committee consisting of Bob Chollar '35, Al Beust '38, and Jim Kuhns '40.

At the May monthly luncheon, officers for the year 1948-1949 were elected as follows:

William S. Emerson '34, president; AlbertP. Beust '3B, vice-president; Thomas H. Gillaugh '46, secretary; and Thomas J. Hall '33, treasurer. The new entertainment committee will be headed by Charlie (Fake) Corwin '36, assisted by Dave Gibson '4O and Charlie Hall '33.

On June 19 W. G. (Wib) Kennedy '27 was host at his farm to a picnic group of approximately 30 BIG GREEN couples.
