As you can see by the attached picture the Dayton Association held a very successful annual dinner meeting February 4 at the Biltmore Hotel. Approximately 40 Dartmouth alumni and guests were in attendance. The dinner was preceded by cocktails and BillMcCarter '19, Director of Athletics at the College who was our guest for the occasion, gave us a very fine picture of the scene in Hanover both from the athletic standpoint and otherwise. We in this area are anticipating the Dartmouth-Michigan game in the fall of 1950.

Our monthly luncheons are running smoothly, and we expect to have Rollie Bevan, former Dartmouth and present Army football trainer, talk to us at the March or April meeting.

The big coming attraction, which will be over by the time you read this, is the Dartmouth Glee Club concert at the Biltmore on April 2. The hard-working committee in charge includes: Co-Chairmen, Bob Larkin '30 and Tom Gillaugh '46; Printing, Bob Davidson '39 and Dick Morner '43; Invitations, Jim Kuhns '40; Tickets, Dan Mitchell '37; Publicity, Ed Canby '29 and Tom Patterson '31; Ushers, Warner Kiefaber '39; Housing, Bob Cowden '32; Decorations, Bob Oelman '31; Orchestra, Tom Hall '33; Hall, Al Beust '38; Legal, Sam McCray '34.

The concert, followed by a cabaret dance, is expected to be the outstanding affair in Dayton Dartmouth history.
