Last June Shorty Oliver wrote us that hehad spent an evening with Bob Voorhis andhis wife, from which we quote:
"As you know, after getting out of the service at the end of the war Bob accepted a commission in the regular Army with the Judge Advocate General's Division (this is the lawyers' division of the Army). For the past almost three years he has been stationed in Washington, first handling personnel assignments in the JAG and later trying cases in the Federal courts all over the country. His rank is Lieutenant Colonel. He has recen ly been assigned to duty in Trieste. This, as you know, is the hot spot at the top of the Adriatic. Trieste is under joint control of the British and Americans. Bob will be the top legal American officer. Although he is not yet entirely clear as to just what his duties will be, I should assume that he will act as legal consultant to the military governor in that area. He sails July 1 and will probably be there for three years. As you will realize, it is a position of considerable responsibility and Bob is looking forward to assuming his duties."

Barney Norton of the Class of '28 sent us a note this summer from up in Vergennes, Vt. enclosing a clipping from Feedstuffs with an excellent picture of Nat Morey announcing that, formerly assistant manager of the Ralston-Purina Company's Buffalo mill, he is now manager of the new Bloomington, Ill. plant. Barney also tells us that Lloyd Moulton is superintendent of schools in the Addison, Northwest District in Vermont and doing an excellent job. He reports that after being there only two years Lloyd has started two new school buildings, which is quite a feat when you consider they are replacing buildings erected in 1856 and 1871.
