Wallis A. McCoy, "King" to his '07 classmates, died at Manchester, N. H., on February 17 after a short illness. King had lived in Manchester since 1933 when he was appointed New Hampshire State Manager of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. He joined the company in August, 1907, and advanced steadily in responsibility until his retirement in October, 1948. Services on February 20 were attended by five classmates, Charlie Woodworth, Bill Smart,Jim Brown, Jack Hammond and WaldoPickett. King leaves his wife and three sisters.

Our classmate was not only a respected business executive, but also a recognized leader in his community in civic and Dartmouth affairs. As in college, King was well liked by all who knew him and he will be remembered as a friendly cheerful personality.

Helen and Bill Cummings have been in San Juan, Puerto Rico, since mid-January. They plan to return to Maine late in March. They are very enthusiastic about the Island, both as a place to live and as a business location. Bill writes that their nth grandchild (8 boys and 3 girls) was born on Bill and Helen's 35 th anniversary.

These '07 regulars attended the Annual Dinner of The Boston Alumni Association on February 9: Woodworth, Kitching, Fassett,Kenyon, Jim Brown, Smart, McDevitt,Stevens, Coburn, Dick Lane.

Further information about Warren Billings, whose death was reported in the March ALUMNI MAGAZINE, has since been received. Warren received a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the State of New York in 1926. Employed on projects in Maine for eleven years, and in California for a shorter period, and again in Maine, he spent most of his later life in New York State. From 1941 until 1948, when his health forced him to become inactive, Warren was principally employed by government agencies on war projects. He made his home in Rome. N. Y. for many years, and served that community in many civic activities.
