The Nebraska Alumni Association welcomed Dean Lloyd K. Neidlinger at the Omaha Club on March 31. Everyone enjoyed getting acquainted with Dean Neidlinger before dinner and were very much impressed with his after-dinner talk. Dean Neidlinger spoke on the "Future of Liberal Arts Colleges" and then led a very spirited question and answer session. We hope Pudge will return to Omaha soon.

Dr. C. W. Pollard '95, dean of Nebraska alumni, was unable to attend the gathering. Although under observation at Immanual Hospital, he claims nothing serious—just doesn't feel as mean as he ought to.

Dick Walker '28 has been elected to the Alumni Council from this region. We think this is swell for it fits right into our plans for building a large undergraduate body from this area.

Results of the association election were: President, Hodge L. Jones Jr. '40, and Secretary-Treasurer, George G. Tobias Jr. '42.
