Secretaries' Meetings

A JOINT DINNER with addresses by President Dickey and Sigurd S. Larmon '14, a member of the Board of Trustees, will be the highlight of the annual two-day meetings of Class Officers and Alumni Club Secretaries to be held in Hanover Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7. Other speakers at the dintier, which will be held Friday at 7.30 p.m. in the Colonial Room, Thayer Hall, will be Professor Allen R. Foley '20, Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, and Raymond J. Rasenberger '49, President of the Undergraduate Council. The toastmaster will be Alex J. McFarland '30, President of the Secretaries Association, and a program of songs will be presented by the College Glee Club Quartet. The dinner will be preceded by a reception starting at 5.45 p.m. at the President's house.

Also on Friday, the Alumni Club Secretaries will meet at 2.30 p.m. in 13 Carpenter Hall and the Class Memorial Fund Chairmen will gather in the Rupert Brooke Room of Sanborn House at the same time.

Saturday's program will include visits to Administration Offices from 9 to 10 a.m. and separate meetings at 10 a.m. of Class Secretaries, Class Treasurers, and Class Agents. Mr. McFarland will preside at the Class Secretaries meeting in the Sanborn House Library, while Rufus L. Sisson '14 and William T. Maeck '43, Business Manager of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE, will lead a discussion with class treasurers in the Wren Room of Sanborn House. George H. Colton '35, Executive Secretary of the Alumni Fund, and Nichol M. Sandoe Jr. '45, Alumni Fund Associate, will meet with the Class Agents in the Hanover Inn Ski Hut.

An informal dinner will be held at 6 p.m. in the Hanover Inn, followed by an informal party at 8.30 p.m. in the Inn Ski Hut, where college movies will be shown.

Athletic events that weekend will be an Ivy League baseball game with Columbia Friday at 4 p.m. and both varsity and freshman track meets with Harvard starting at 2.30 p.m. Saturday.
