At the last regular meeting in May, the report of the nominating committee received the unanimous support of all present and the following new officers were elected for the coming year: Richard E. Koester '43, president, and Leonard A. C. Dunn '27, Ist vicepresident; re-elected to second terms were Charles H. Armes '34, 2nd vice-president, Arthur C. Lund '27, treasurer, and H. BaileyWalten '43, secretary.

In June a group of approximately 50, including alumni, wives and children, joined the caravan to Dick Koester's home on Chesapeake Bay near Gibson Island. With the weather fair and warm, adults and kids alike made the most of the cooling bay water. Dick, piloting his fleet Chriscraft appropriately named the Wah-Hoo, took all who were game for thrills on extended sorties out into the fortunately not so wild blue. Those who had the foresight to fit this most enjoyable outing into their summer schedule included VicBloede '40, Carl Burton '29, Phil Brown '44, Dave Garrett '18, Doug Kelly '32, Walter Kirkpatrick '29, Leon Loeb '27, Don Mason '13, Bob Moyer '43, Ed Pierce '41, Dud Richards '39, Howard Van Riper '38, Bailey Walten and Ed Walten '41. From far off Newtown, Pa., came Jim Rendall '42.

Fall activities Save already begun with a luncheon at the Park Plaza Hotel on Thursday, Sept. 14, in honor of members of the new freshman class before their departure for Hanover. New projects are being planned now which will enlarge the reputation of the College locally and it is hoped that all alumni here will keep a close contact with the club's activities in this vital work.
