Under the able leadership of Jack Dodd and his aides on the Class Alumni Fund Committee the '45 campaign has been completed. In adjoining columns you will find the details of the campaign and '22's share in it. Many fail to realize the tremendous amount of work and responsibility involved in a class campaign and much credit is due to Jack and his staff.
You will all be interested to know that as of June 1 Jack Dodd was appointed assistant vice president of the Personnel Department of the N. Y. Telephone Company and will deal with matters concerning wages and working conditions He returns from A. T. & T. to this company where he was formerly general commercial supervisor. Hearty congratulations!
Not so long ago I received a swell letter from Bunny Bunnell who is now back in this country safe and sound. The letter he enclosed with a snapshot appearing in the adjoining column was written to me after liberation by our forces at Santo Tomas and described most graphically some of the conditions under which he lived.
The very latest news I have of Bunny comes from Joe Shultz '21 of the Central National Bank of Cleveland, who has seen the Bunnells several times and says they are doing fine. Note the B's address, those of you who would like to write—W. J. B. c/o K. B. Kilborn, 2340 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio or write him at Goodyear Foreign Operations Inc., Akron 16.
Phil Kimball, the gentleman of ample girth, hit the daily double at recent races at North Randall (they tell me it's somewhere in Ohio) which paid 42 to 2. Lucky dog!

Dick Wood has been on loan for the past several months to the Library of Congress but is now back on his own work at the National Archives. Daughter Roberta was graduated from high school this June.
The Dartmouth Club (N. Y.) News carries several items concerning Twoters. Miner attended the class agents' dinner and Horan, Busher, Dodd, Kilmarx, Pinney and Miner attended the C and G April dinner at the club.
Johnny Carleton is back in Manchester practicing law. His unit of the Troop Carrier Command received a Presidential Citation for landing paratroopers in France on D-Day and John himself was awarded the Bronze Star for his own work in planning this effort. John has "just been elected Chairman of the National War Fund for New Hampshire for 1945, succeeding Bob Booth, who served in that capacity in 1944.
This is the last issue of the MAGAZINE until the new year starts on October Ist. As usual I have greatly enjoyed tabulating the items but I have regretted that my travellings hither and yon have been quite limited, so I have not had the pleasure of seeing many of you personally. Thanks to all who have contributed bits of news concerning themselves and other Twoters. Good luck, hope you have a swell vacation and I will see you in the fall.
