The Central New Jersey Club opened the 195°"51 year with a meeting September 22 at the Carteret Club in Trenton. The officers of the club for the new year are: President, Victor E. Sabary '36; Vice President, RichardBeshlin '29; Treasurer, Clyde Meder '46; and Secretary, Arthur J. O'Mara '09. In addition to the officers, Van Wie Ingham '28, George Lee '28 and James Morgan '41 are on the Executive Committee.
The Club will celebrate Dartmouth Night, October 20, at a dinner meeting in New Brunswick at the Robert Smith Hotel. VanWie Ingham is chairman of the dinner committee, assisted by Leboy Height '23, RayLawrence '47, Herbert Bailey '41 and JamesMorgan '41. Thanks to these hard workers, the New Brunswick dinners have always been very successful.
The Club closed a successful year last June with a reception and buffet supper for the local youths admitted to the Class of 1954. The boys' fathers were also invited. A Dartmouth film was shown, and in addition to short and interesting talks by Dick Barlow Sr. '14 and Dick Barlow Jr. '49, there was group singing and some Dartmouth cheers. The occasion was voted a highly successful one.
A repetition of the June affair is planned for the Class of 1955, and President Sabary has laid out a program of club events for the coming year that should prove interesting for all Dartmouth men in the Central New Jersey area.
