Dartmouth Night

Plans for Dartmouth Night, which takes place Friday, October 20, on the night of the undergraduate rally for the Dartmouth-Lehigh game, have been completed. Speakers will include President Dickey, Football Captain Paul Staley '51, Coach Tuss McLaughry, Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, and Jeffrey O'Connell '51, president of Palaeopitus.

"Tradition is remembering" has been the keynote of these occasions known to Dartmouth men all over the world. Established in 1895 by President William Jewett Tucker as a means of welcoming freshmen into the Dartmouth Fellowship, the coming 56th celebration will relay to undergraduate listeners messages from alumni groups and individuals over the country. The Band and Glee Club will provide music and songs for the program, which will be broadcast by WDBS.
