WELCOMED BACK TO THE CAMPUS last May for a special Baker Library symposium on modern poetry were (I to r) Richard Eberhart '26, Richmond Lattimore '26 and Marshall Schacht '27. Eberhart, who studied at St. John's in Cambridge, is represented in a number of anthologies. Lattimore, Rhodes Scholar and student at the American Academy in Rome, now Professor of Greek at Bryn Mawr, is known for his classical translations. Schacht, who teaches English at C.C.N.Y., won the Twayne First Book Contest last year with his first volume of verse, "Fingerboard."
