Fred Harris 'II Again Makes Gift to D.O.C.

An unrestricted gift of $1,000 has been L. made to the Dartmouth Outing Club by Fred Harris '11 of Brattleboro, Vt. This sum will be used for the Club's general program during the current year.

Mr. Harris, founder of the Outing Club in 1910, has made similar unrestricted gifts in recent years and has thus become a generous benefactor and a source of continued growth of the organized outdoor activity which he started 40 years ago. Ever since graduation he has maintained an active interest in skiing and the yearround outdoor life fostered by the D.O.C. He was the founder also of the U. S. Eastern Amateur Ski Association in 1922 and the Brattleboro Outing Club in the same year.
