On even-numbered years in this up-state community, November is a month when we traditionally journey to Ithaca to witness the current battle in the long, long war between the Big Red and the Big Green. This year is no exception. In addition, we will warily get together with the local Cornell Club on the Wednesday before the game for a joint luncheon and again the Monday evening after the fray to review the game movies. Notice has been sent to members of both clubs that brass knuckles must not be worn!

Harry Holmlund '24 is again directing the raising of funds for the Rochester Regional Scholarship. The club feels quite proud of this scholarship, but there are enough headaches for Harry even if none of us drops the ball. Let's give him a pleasant surprise by sending in our checks promptly!

Shortly after his return from a meeting with Al Dickerson '30 in Hanover, Bob Paterson '36 organized his Applicant Interviewing and Enrollment Committee. The modus operandi used so successfully by our colleagues in Denver has been adopted by this committee for the coming year. The importance to the College of this activity cannot be over-estimated, and Bob has left the mark with a running start.
