Plans for a Jeff Tesreau Memorial, to be dedicated at this year's Commencement Holy Cross baseball game, have been announced by Eddie Jeremiah, coach of baseball and hockey.

As a mark of respect to Jeff Tesreau, who for 28 years guided Dartmouth baseball teams and whose influence on many Dartmouth athletes was great, the suggestion of a Memorial Fund was broached to a number of alumni. Their response was immediate. William H. McCarter 19, director of athletics, is serving as chairman of the fund, the committee members being all Dartmouth baseball captains during and after Jeff Tesreau's regime.

It is asked that men who wish to give to the fund, who played baseball at Dartmouth before 1919, send their checks, made out to D.C.A.C. (Tesreau Memorial), to William H. McCarter, Director of Athletics, Dartmouth College, Hanover, N. H. Players during and after Jeff Tesreau's coaching tenure are requested to send their checks, made out as described above, to their respective captains, whom they will hear from and who will forward their checks to Mr. McCarter. Navy and Marine players and other friends of Jeff Tesreau's who wish to contribute may send their checks direct to Mr. McCarter.

Any balance of funds in excess of the memorial itself will be turned over to the College Loan Fund in care of Prof. Francis J. Neef, to be used whenever possible for Dartmouth undergraduate baseball players.
