Although the Dartmouth track team hasn't swung into its 1935 schedule, wearers of the Green have entered the Millrose and New York A. C. Games this past month and carried off high honors. The Dartmouth mile relay team ran a thrilling race against Pittsburgh in the Millrose Games on Feburary 2 and was barely nosed out when Kreuger bested John Hoffstetter in the last leg. Kreuger, second-place winner in the intercollegiate 440 last spring, had an advantage of two yards over Hoff- stetter at the start of the anchor leg, and in his anxiety to forge ahead, the Dartmouth sophomore tried to pass the Pitt star on the corners and tired himself. Other members of the Green team were Phil Clark, Bob Quimby and Joe Donovan.

In the New York A. C. Games at New York on February 16, Hoffstetter won the Buermyer 500-yard event after Tim Ring had been disqualified for pushing Milton Sandler off the track. He was clocked in 59-a seconds, after a phenomenal burst of speed that carried him past some of the nation's best runners. Other honors were captured for the Green by Tony Geniawicz who finished second to Jack Torrance in the shot-put, and Dick Brister who took second in the pole vault behind Keith Brown of Yale.
