Detroit

The annual meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Detroit was held early in April, with Sidney C. Hayward '26 as guest and principal speaker. Sid made his usual fine presentation on the affairs and problems of the College. The gathering was also treated to its first showing of the new Outing Club film, Dartmouth Outdoors.

An election of officers was held preceding the dinner and the following were the successful candidates: President, Staff Hudson '19; Vice-President, Jack Brabb '29; Secretary, Rog Graves '37; Treasurer, Jack Scolaro '42. Additions to the Executive Committee were Bob Sumner '33 and Dave Williams '35.

Plans for the Dartmouth Pow-Wow to be held in Detroit October 6 and 7 in connection with the Michigan football game were discussed by Phil Watson '19, chairman. The Pow-Wow is getting rolling and should be the biggest alumni meeting ever held outside of the East.
