The Nashoba Dartmouth Club held a dinner meeting March 14 at The Bull Run Club in Shirley, Mass. The members gathered between 6 o'clock and 7, at which time everyone enjoyed an excellent roast beef dinner. After a few songs led by Bob Grey '28 at the piano, Claude Farwell '20 President, introduced two subjects for consideration. First, Scholarship Aid. In connection with this matter, Stan Newton '45 outlined briefly the needs of the College for scholarship aid and the objectives and goals of the Dartmouth Development Council. Secondly, Claude Farwell reported on his investigation into the possibility of the Nashoba Club using the facilities of the Boston Outing Club house situated in Groton. It was proposed that the next meeting of the club be held at the Outing Club house for the purpose of looking into the feasibility of using the facilities regularly.
The speaker for the evening was Prof. Arthur B. Jensen, director of the Great Issues Course at Dartmouth this year. His talk was very well received by the members and there were many interesting questions asked afterwards.
