On Dartmouth Night, October 20, the Nashoba Dartmouth Club held a dinner meeting at the Bull Run Club in Shirley, Mass.
The 25 Dartmouth men present enjoyed the talk by C. N. Allen '24 on the "State of the College." Then Professor Allen led the group in a round-table discussion which proved very interesting to all.
Two young men from Leominster High School who aspire to admission at Dartmouth were present.
The Nashoba Club was not entirely inactive during the summer. About 20 people, including wives, braved a very hot, humid day in June to gather for a picnic at the D.O.C. cabin in Groton.
In keeping with future plans to vary the location of meetings, it was voted to hold the next meeting nearer the vicinity of Concord with a committee from that area to serve for the meeting.
Officers were elected for the next year as follows: Stanley Chittick '24, President; Richard Priest '46, Vice-President; Martin MeigsJr. '43, Treasurer; and Stanley Newton '45, Secretary.
Secretary, 51 High St., Leominster, Mass.
