Thursday, January 4, about 40 men mustered at the new Leominster Recreation Center to enjoy an informal evening, with movies from Hanover. The general consensus was that My First Week at Dartmouth and Dartmouth Outdoors are great pictures. Many of the men were pleased to learn that Dartmouth owns such fine movies for circulation. It was a grand turn-out for the Nashoba Club, the best yet. Included in the crowd were five prospective candidates for admission to Dartmouth.
During a short intermission, the members were conducted on a tour of the recreation center still in the process of completion. The personnel of the snack bar served a light lunch of sandwiches and coffee.
To conclude the evening, the highlights of the best football games last fall were viewed. The club officers sincerely hope that the new faces seen at this meeting will show up at future meetings. The Nashoba Dartmouth Club is on its way, but it can use the aid and interest of all hands. We welcome all Dartmouth men in the vicinity of the Nashoba Valley to join us.
Boston Dinner The annual dinner of the Boston Alumni Association will be held Wednesday, March 7, at the Hotel Copley Plaza, Boston. Speakers will be President Conant of Harvard and President Dickey of Dartmouth.
