As has been the practice in recent years, the A abbreviated July issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE is devoted almost entirely to a review of the Commencement and Reunion events of last month.
The opening account of The 181 st Commencement, beginning on Page 9, is supplemented by the full texts of President Dickey's valedictory to the graduating class (Page 12), the Class of 1950 valedictory delivered by Robert D. Kilmarx '50 (Page 12), the Baccalaureate Address by the Hon. George F. Kennan, who was one of the honorary degree recipients (Page 13), and the citations read by President Dickey in conferring the honorary degrees (Page 16). Also printed in full is the Fifty-Year Address given at the Alumni Association meeting of June 10 by Prof. Leon B. Richardson '00 (Page 18).
A brief account of the second weekend of reunions, June 16-18, will be found on Page 21. One of the principal speakers at the Alumni Association meeting of June 17 was Sigurd S. Larmon '14, Dartmouth Trustee, who represented the Classes of 1914-'15-'16, holding simultaneous reunions under the Robinson Plan. His remarks will be found on Page 23.
