The recently elected chairman of the Association of National Advertisers, Albert Brown '24, has been in the advertising field ever since his graduation from Dartmouth—all but three years having been spent with the same company. Now vice president of Best Foods, Inc., in charge of advertising and public relations, Mr. Brown's first position was in the sales promotion department of the company. He was appointed director of advertising and sales promotion of a newly formed department in 1942 when there was a consolidation of a number of advertising departments in the Hecker Products Corp., of which Best Foods was a subsidiary.

Since purchasing a 175-year-old house in Westport, Conn., Mr. Brown has found another absorbing occupation in carpentry, painting and gardening.
