Dr. William T. Merrill died July 11, 1951, at Milton (Mass.) Hospital. An account of his life is being published in the In Memoriam section of this MAGAZINE. Our popular "Jigger" was in his 91st year. He and his wife lived and worked together happily for nearly 60 years. His wife is still alert and lives with her son Chauncey '19, at 71 Fullers Lane, East Milton, Mass.

Herbert E. Gage. About the time this MAGAZINE is being issued he will be starting for his Florida apartment at 130 4th Ave. No., St. Petersburg. He is in fair health, but does not claim to be vigorous.

Albert E. Hadlock. "Dan" planned to spend the last two weeks of August at Dartmouth, as he has done in years past. While at Hanover he seeks some treatment for his "old legs" which he says, "Ain't what they used to be."

Frank B. Sanborn. I had reached the top of the hill on the last of the nine holes of golf at Crawford Notch when I found that I had run out of wind. I halted—quit overeating for two days—felt better. We old fellows have our weaknesses.

Fred A. How land. A letter written by Trustee John McLane says, "I met Dan Hadlock at the Hanover Inn when we were up for a Neidlinger wedding and in July I spent a delightful evening in Montpelier at Fred Howland's with Hoppy and Ned French." (Did they overeat also?)

The four above mentioned '87ites, Gage, Hadlock, Sanborn and Howland, for various and sundry reasons, omitted, regretfully, their usual reunion at Commencement time last June.

Secretary and Treasurer, 37 Arlington St., Cambridge, Mass.
