The last meeting prior to vacations was held at the Blackstone, May 23, with the main object the election of officers for the next year. Results of the vote were: Baily Walten '43, President; Art Jacobsen '29, Vice-President; Art Lund '27, Vice-President and Program Chairman; Charlie Armes '34, Treasurer; Len Dunn '27, Secretary.

Dick Koester '43, retiring president, invited the club to his summer home on the bay for what has become the annual family summer outing and picnic. The date, June 23, was well chosen as to weather, and excellent for swimming, crabbing, soft ball, and some speedy rides in Dick's Cris-Craft. There were ample food, soft drinks, and beer for the 82 who attended. Thanks to Dick and his wife and family for a very wonderful outing.

A pre-college opening luncheon for entering freshmen, undergraduates, and alumni has been planned for Thursday noon, September 13, at Park Plaza Hotel.
