Our pre-college opening luncheon for entering freshmen, their fathers, undergraduates and alumni held September 13 was very successful. We had 43 present.
For the annual Dartmouth Night dinner meeting October 19 we gathered at the Marling House for an excellent meeting, though some conflicting engagements kept our attendance down to 23. Bailey Walten '43, president, covered some of our plans for the fall and winter. The secretary briefly read the news from Hanover as well as reported on the desire of the Glee Club to come to Baltimore in April '52. We are giving this serious consideration. Leon Loeb '27, Wellcome Farm, RFD #2, Frederick, Md., has invited the alumni and families to attend a fall picnic at their place on Sunday afternoon, November 4. A large turnout is expected for this outing. Our next regular meeting is scheduled for the evening of November 14, at the Blackstone Apartments.
