Sixty-two alumni and guests met at the Outing Club House on a wonderful warm summer afternoon for a delicious lobster feed in the evening, May 16. I will not comment further than to say that we enjoyed the warm sunshine and beautiful surroundings.

F. Ray Adams '19, president, presided at the business meeting called to order at 9 P.M. Dr. Jim Oberlander '26, member of the Alumni Council, reported that 16 Vermont applications for the incoming Freshman Class had been accepted out of approximately 38 interviewed.

President Ray said that an attempt would be made to foster smaller groups within the State Association in the fall. Ray then introduced the popular football coach, Tuss McLaughry, as our speaker. Coach McLaughry brought us up to date on what was going on in the College and outside as it related to physically fit young men who seriously desire an education, with special emphasis on those with football interests.
