KENNETH M. HENDERSON '16 of Chicago, president of Ditto, Inc., has been elected by the Dartmouth Alumni Council to serve as Chairman of the 1952 Alumni Fund. He succeeds Charles J. Zimmerman '23, who has directed the Fund campaign for the last two years.
Mr. Henderson has been president of Ditto, Inc. since 1946, and is well known as an able administrator and civic leader. When he was chairman of the Red Cross drive in Winnetka, he instituted a one-night-drive program which proved so successful that it was adopted for permanent use. As chairman of the Budget Committee and Director of the Community Fund of Chicago he was responsible for the allocating of some ten million dollars to Chicago charities. In addition to other activities, he is chairman of the Board of Directors for the Duncan Y.M.C.A., a trustee of the Winnetka Congregational Church, and of the Ravinia Festival Association.
Ever since his graduation Mr. Henderson has maintained his interest in Dartmouth and alumni activities. He was secretary of the Chicago Alumni Association in 1921-22 and is at present member-at-large of the Dartmouth Alumni Council. His son Kenneth M. Henderson Jr. 51 graduated last June.
