THE Dartmouth Alumni Council held its annual winter meeting in Hanover on Friday and Saturday, January 19-20, with John L. Sullivan '21, president of the Council, presiding. As one of its major actions, the Council nominated Beardsley Ruml '15 for a second five-year term as Alumni Trustee of the College. A reception by President and Mrs. Dickey was followed by dinner at the Inn, at the conclusion of which the President spoke informally in the lounge and the newest Dartmouth movies were shown. On Saturday morning the Council held its regular business meeting.

Alumni Council committees which held special meetings and made reports to the full Council included those on Class Gifts to the College, headed by Wilbur W. Bullen '22; Bequests, headed by Nichol M. Sandoe '19; Admissions and Schools, headed by Justin A, Stanley '33; Alumni Fund, headed by Charles J. Zimmerman '23; and Parents, headed by Charles B. Rice '23.
