Dartmouth College Club, Inc. 37 East 39th St., New York 16, N. Y.

Looks like Tea Dances are back to stay. Looks, too, like the Dartmouth Club might have 25th Anniversary Parties every couple of months. Such were the sentiments of Dartmouth men and their guests hereabouts after attending the club's Tea Dance last December 28, given to celebrate its Silver Anniversary.

Orchids to Club President Jib Dingwall '6 and Entertainment Chairman Brice DisqueJr. '25. Their wizardry produced the gala event. Best party in years! A marvelous medteD ley of fun.

Some on-the-scene comments: What a party! —just like the old days 25 years ago Women sure look good around here I need eleven hands (from behind the bar). .... Swell music—snappy, lively tunes Tea dances are back to stay for my dough Where's the tea? .... Wonderful turnout

Must be a million people here Why only every 25 years?.... Hasn't been a party at the Club like this for a long, long while (Manager Redman '06) Sure do like this music—it's happy And it's continuousno intermissions Wish I had a date.

.... Traveling hors d'oeuvres, no less Somehow, drinks on the house taste so much better..... Simply divine (female voice) Who'd ever thought I'd be doing the Mexican Hat Dance? Terrific party—this should happen more often Great party—let's have another 25th Anniversary next month.

Skiers, take note. The DOC of New York is offering schuss artists a handsome deal again this season—its sixteenth, incidentally. One dollar buys you a share in their fun. It's your membership fee. And rarely today does a dollar bring such substantial returns. Details are available from Marv Chandler '32, Room 405, 30 Vesey St., New York 7, N. Y. Marv is looking for new blood to get interested in the executive branches, too. He'll tell you all about it.

We've got a new member on the Board of Governors. Bruce W. Jones '43 moved away from the Big City where he was writing advertising for one of the large agencies. He's now up in Rochester with an agency there, married, and close to home. Taking his place is Harold J. Eckhardt '42, who is also treasurer of the Dartmouth Club of Westchester. Harold was selected by a three-man nominating committee chosen by President JibDingwall '16.

With the Teams. A close match was lost by the Club's bridge team to Yale on December 14. The shufflers hope to be much more shrewd, though, in their next interclub encounter with Cornell.

Both the "B" and "C" squash squads had a .667 average for December. Of the three matches played by each, two were won and one dropped.

Everything's going along fine and dandy. Pete and Pat are still the Town's most masterful mixologists. When you're down Manhattan way, be sure to drop into 37 East 39th St. Your classmates would like to see if you've got any hair left.
