On Friday, February 16, we had our annual dinner with a speaker from the College. We felt exceedingly fortunate in having Bob Funkhouser '27, the College Comptroller, as our guest speaker. As Bob is from Dayton it was a Dartmouth and Dayton reunion. We had a good crowd and an excellent evening.
On April 5 the Dartmouth Glee Club was in Dayton for a concert followed by a dance with Earl Holderman's orchestra in the Biltmore Hotel ballroom. The alumni fed and housed the boys as was done so successfully two years ago. The profits from the concert-dance went to the College Scholarship fund. Sam McCray '34 was chairman of the event.
Here is some social news a bit late, but always significant: Charles L. Hall '33 was married on December 2, 1950, to Cecilia Stevenson of Dayton. Attending as best man was ThomasJ. Hall '33, the twin brother of the groom.
