It is a pleasure to conclude our report with the news that Coach Tommy Keane's golf team did all right for themselves, with a season's record of nine wins and four losses, thus finishing in third place in the Eastern Intercollegiate League standing. Paced by the rotund and talented Captain Duke Carey, the boys burned up the greensward on more than one occasion, with several of the players consistently hitting in the low 70's. What with the perennially late spring, the golf team ordinarily has a somewhat unhappy time of it, but this year the boys did very well indeed.
The golf captain for next year is Robert N. Stiles, who is advancing into this position while only a junior. Playing on the squad as a sophomore this year, Stiles shot consistently good golf in the middle 70's, winning the balance of his matches in team play. During the entire season, in fact, he only lost one and tied one match personally, thereby contributing substantially to the overall record of the team.
