Northern New Jersey

Now that the holidays are over, the late winter and spring seasons of the Alumni Association of Northern New Jersey will feature two important events. In early March we hope to have President Dickey as speaker for our annual dinner meeting. As it has been some time since he has been our guest, we are pleased that he will visit us this year. We hope that we can count on a large turnout of New Jersey alumni for this meeting.

Thanks to the efforts of Ren Grevatt '43 we have arranged for the Glee Club to come to Montclair for a concert on April 3. The details of this event are being completed by Ren and his committee and will be given to the Association before long.

Lou Wilcox '23 and his committee are increasing their efforts in our enrollment program. Alumni representatives have been selected for a large number of our local secondary schools. Some are already participating in high school college nights, representing Dartmouth.

Our efforts to increase the active membership of our Association have been very encouraging. We already have a 50% increase in dues-paying members and we hope to get even more of the local alumni to join us.

Our fall informal dinner was held November 14 and was well attended. It was especially nice to see so many new faces. Eddie Jeremiah '30 was present and the group seemed to have a relaxed and happy evening. The following alumni were present:
