Recently the Dartmouth Club of Western Oklahoma met at a luncheon session in Oklahoma City to elect a slate of new officers. The following were elected: Robert J. Riggs Jr.'44, president; Morrison G. Tucker '32, vicepresident; Edgar R. Oppenheim '39, secretary.
The group discussed the program of interesting prep and high school students of the Western Oklahoma area in Dartmouth. Richard M. Riggs '42 headed that committee during the past year and was re-appointed for the coming year. He reported that four Oklahoma City boys had made application for the class of '56 and had been accepted. All four are planning to enter Dartmouth this fall. This is the first Oklahoma City delegation to enter the College for the past several years. None of these students have any prior Dartmouth connections, and their interest in the college is the result of the Club's activities. Tor the past two years the Club has sponsored the "Dartmouth Cup" at Cassidy Hall Prep School in Oklahoma City, and a considerable number of personal calls have been made to the homes of prospective students and their parents.
