The Alumni Club held an informal party, January 2, for prospective candidates for admission, undergraduates, graduates and interested alumni. The affair went very well. The present undergraduates arid the recent graduates told the future students about the more personal side of Dartmouth life. The prospective students left with both a great deal of interest and a more intimate impression of the school as a whole.

On January 21 the Alumni Club met at the Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City with Bob Blackman and Robert Hage. This dinner was very successful. All present met and talked personally with these fine men. After dinner, both of them gave short and very interesting talks concerned with such current topics as Hopkins Center, the Dartmouth curriculum, and, of course, the football team and the outlook for the 1957 season.

Also at the dinner, Morrison Tucker '32 was elected President; Frederick Fellingham '27, Vice-President; Ed Oppenheim '39 was re-elected Secretary and Treasurer; and Robert Braielton '56 was elected Assistant Secretary and Treasurer and put in charge of undergraduate gatherings. We were quite pleased to have present the parents of Dartmouth undergraduates who live in cities and towns throughout the State. The Club here is constantly trying to get candidates in order to be representatives of Dartmouth in the smaller cities and towns. We hope in this way to be able to reach more people and a wider geographical area. Through continued effort we hope for the establishment of a larger colony of Oklahomans at Dartmouth.
