I recently spoke with Jim Dodge. He states that he is doing quite well and enjoys playing bridge. He visits his son, a Dartmouth '54, in Baltimore quite often, and his granddaughter Kimberly graduated from the College with the class of '84. He told me to let everyone in the Dartmouth community know that "there is life after 90."

Bob Fenn's son Robert reports that Bob is 92 years old and has been quite active as a dairyman most of his life. He recently completed spading his vegetable garden, and he cares for his horse and works six days a week at a local grocery store. Bob is still scything in the fields. One of his most vivid memories from his undergraduate days is of how, in the wintertime, skis were put on the front of Cadillac taxis to roll the snow.

J. Nevin "Kit" Carson's daughter Patricia Carson Anderson wrote me to fill me in on some of her family history related to Dartmouth. Kit returned to Denver after his graduation from Dartmouth in 1923 and worked in a retail store, which was the family business. Pat is the last family member to have contact with the College, as her father and her brother (class of 1951) have passed away. She is Skidmore class of 1946 and writes that she has many pictures of her father and classmates from the early 19205. She highly recommends the book The Dartmouth Story by Robert Graham '40. Pat has continued to follow the class of 1923 information and continues to be a loyal supporter of the College today.

I regret to report that I learned from Howard Emerson's daughter that he passed away in the spring. According to his daughter he lead a very active life. He graduated from the School of Engineering at MIT and went on to a distinguished career in engineering, working with the TVA and subsequently helping to set up the School of Engineering at the University of Tennessee.

I encourage all of you to send me whatever information you want to share with the other members of the class and the Dartmouth community. Until Next Column, '23 Skidoo.
