Word has reached us of the death of Mrs.Arthur Kimball on October 4. It will be remembered that her husband, our classmate, died in November 1921. She is survived by four children: Mrs. James Eden-Kilgour (Virginia), Mrs. Robert E. Gard (Mary), Mrs. Philip N. Buckminster (Josephine), Dr. Arthur S. Kimball, Jr.; and four grandchildren. A fourth daughter (Eleanor) died in August 1950.
Here is a list of those reported as registered at the Inn during October: Judge and Mrs.Prescott, Walter and Mrs. Rankin, Leßaronand Mrs. Sampson, Dr. Arthur Wallace.
While your Secretary does not plan to set up classes within the Class, he feels that were we to do so, it might be well to consider a super-fecundity classification. The following would serve as a nucleus, these men to be known as patriarchs with such honors and perquisites (if any) as attach to such title. Note the order of listing is alphabetical and in no way reflects upon the prolificness of the line: Great Grand- Grand- Children children children Total Ash 7 14 2 23 Jenkins 3 9 1 13 Paddock 4 13 o 17 Roberts 1225Smith 2237Trull 1315Wallace 4 10 6 20 90 In so far as we know, Henry Weston's son Barrett has the record for children eight.
