Arthur Chivers, after serving 30 years as Professor of Botany at Dartmouth, retired in June 1950. He has sold his charming home in Hanover where he so generously has entertained us at many reunions, and Helen and he have moved to Meriden, N. H. There they have a lovely little New England home. Meriden is only 20 miles from Hanover, near Kimball Union Academy. Helen and Arthur planned to spend Christmas and January with their son Roland's family in Colorado.

Frank Drake had to go abroad again last fall for several months on Gulf Oil business. Although he has retired as president and is at present Chairman of the Board, his cares seem to be increasing with the unrest in the Middle East.

Percy Dorr had an attack of virus pneumonia last fall and was laid up for three weeks, but Percy is good New England stock from Somersworth, N. H., and comes back amazingly from all his ills.

Percy has appointed Davis Keniston as chairman of the Class Bequest Committee and if any of us have any money to leave after the increased taxes of the past years, there is no better, grander spot to place it than in Hanover, N. H.

About two thirds of the Class is planning to come to our reunion in June. We want at least three fourths.

I hope by now you have all received the Class of 1902 Directory and that your secretary has not made too many mistakes. Remember, if you do not answer his letters, he cannot keep his class records up to date.
