Les Farr spent the summer in the White Mountains, in which peaceful environment it is whispered that he has devised stratagems which will make the Dartmouth Club bridge team unbeatable.

Judge and Mrs. Davis B. Keniston were registered at the Hanover Inn on October 5. How long did you stay, Dave?

A letter from Percy Dorr tells of a happy time visiting Bert Briggs at Chatham, Mass., and Frank and Mildred Drake at Hyannisport, who were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. Percy was best man at their wedding. Just now Frank is away on a European trip for the purpose of inspecting the far flung properties of the Gulf Oil Co.

You will all rejoice to know that Daisy Watson is slowly recovering from her heart attack of last February.

In the class records I find a letter from John Porter to Plumer. John retired from the engineering department of the N. Y. Central R.R. in 1948. He has had an active, productive and highly serviceable life. John and Adelaide have a daughter Marion Prote Porter, Holyoke '42 and M.A. Cornell '43. She married Arthur Fross in 1945. There is a son John Endicott Porter Jr. '4.6, who was called into service in the navy during his freshman year. In 1951 he was graduated from the four-year course of the Institute of Banking.

This morning, just as I was bitterly complaining that nobody told me anything, along came a letter from Mrs. Harold E. Plumer otherwise, Ethel announcing the coming marriage of their daughter Mary Elizabeth to Palmer Hoyt Robinson of Summit, N. J., on November 8 at 3 o'clock in Saint Paul's Chapel, Harris Hill, N. Y. The wedding reception will be held in the Twentieth Century Club, Buffalo. Thank you, Ethel. You saved the day. Congratulations to you, Mary Elizabeth, from the whole class.

More letters, please! Yes, you!
