Alumni Fund Scholar

ARTHUR R. JOHNSON '57 of Livingston, N. J., is the first recipient of the Alumni Fund Scholarship endowed with $30,000 from the 1952 Fund. A second scholarship, endowed with the same amount from the 1953 Alumni Fund, will be awarded next fall.

Johnson, who ranked near the top of his class scholastically at Grover Cleveland High School, won the American Legion Award for citizenship, was cocaptain of both football and track, won his letter in basketball, and was active musically in the band, orchestra and chorus in high school.
